The frat pack boys are back again.
True enough that hardly a month goes by before another movie
features Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell or those wacky
Wilson brothers Luke and Owen. Given the massive success of the
previous films does Wedding Crashers have what it takes to play
with the big boys?
When they paired up Owen Wilson
and Ben Stiller in Starsky and Hutch it was funny, when
Dodgeball put Vince Vaughn with Ben stiller it was better and
when Old School put Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson and Will Ferrell
all on screen at once it was glorious.
Luke Wilson and Vaughn are no
strangers, in fact they have appeared in four movies together so
far, but this is the first time when they've both taken star
billing.
So enough about the cast, let's
chat about the movie. In Wedding Crashers John Beckwith (Wilson)
and Jeremy Klein (Vaughn) are a couple of Divorce Mediators
whose passion each to their own is sneaking into weddings to
take advantage of the free food and hopefully scoring with the
beautiful bridesmaids.
Like any great hobby they have
a strict set of rules to abide by called the 'crashers rulebook'
but of course these are more guidelines then rules. The rulebook
dictates the etiquette of the pick-up such as 'never use your
real name'.
